Security measures for those travelling to Hurghada:
We would like to draw your attention to the security measures affecting travellers to destinations in Egypt (in accordance with the instructions issued by the Civil Aviation Directorate in Luxembourg).
We advise our guests to use hard suitcases with integrated locks or cases to which padlocks or seals can be attached, leaving an opening of no more than 1 cm, to prevent an illegal object being inserted into the luggage
If a guest is taking bags that cannot be fully secured with seals, the hold luggage must be sealed with plastic before check-in at Hurghada, at the passenger’s own expense.
In order to ensure that these measures are correctly implemented, we ask guests to follow the instructions received at the Hurghada resort by the staff in charge. Any refusal to cooperate with our local partners may result in the transport of luggage being denied.
For security reasons relating to the current situation, a limited number of excursions will be offered in resort by LuxairTours guides.
We strongly recommend that our guests do not accept excursions operated by companies other than LuxairTours in Hurghada. If a guest nonetheless decides to do so, LuxairTours will not be held responsible for damages of any kind that occur during any such excursion.
