The small harbour town of Puerto Santiago was still a small place until the mid-80s, where people lived mainly from the fishery. If you seek peace and quiet, you will feel particularly at home here in a family atmosphere. The beautiful and well-kept black sand beach Playa de la Arena is one of the main attractions on the sunny southwest coast of Tenerife. Distance to airport: 43 km.
Playa de Fañabé is one of the most vibrant seaside resort in the southern region of Tenerife. The clear sandy beach, which has all the facilities needed for a great day at the beach or for enjoying a wide range of water sports and recreational activities, has been awarded the Blue Flag label. Distance to airport: 25 km.
There are several pedestrianised areas in the centre of Los Cristianos with shops, bars and restaurants. The airport is 12 km away.
Ferry services leave from the port to La Gomera, La Palma and El Hierro. The promenade stretches over approx. 12 km and connects Playa de las Americas with Costa Adeje. The small beach of Los Cristianos is adjacent to the sandy beach of Playa de las Vistas, which extends as far as the Playa de las Americas.
This seaside resort is home to the world-famous botanical garden as well as numerous beautiful houses with flower-adorned patios at the old harbour, the plaza with the shade-giving laurel trees, the San Telmo chapel and the citadel. In addition to the man-made black sand beach, the town features has famous public seawater swimming pools Lago Martiánez with 8 pools (for a fee). Distance to airport: 100 km.
La Caleta is a small fishing village in the southwest of Tenerife. Enjoying a most peaceful location than the rest of Costa Adeje, you will nevertheless find many entertainment and leisure facilities in the neighbourhood and above all, you will enjoy very vood seafood restaurants right by the sea. Distance to airport: 20 km.
Offering a peaceful atmosphère for a great stay, Playa Paraiso is both a seaside resort and a residential town located on the southwest coast of the island. You will find few shops as well as several bus connexions to Playa Fañabe and Playa de Las Americas. Distance to the airport: 28 km.
The community of Guía de Isora, 32 km away from the airport, with its quintessential little Canary Island towns of Alcalá and Playa San Juan, is well known for its banana tree groves. As we leave the coast, there is a magnificent view as far as La Gomera, with its little shops, bars and quintessential cafés. The 18-hole golf course ‘Abama’ is also located in the community of Guía de Isora.
Costa Adeje is a lively, sun-drenched seaside resort in the south of the island with several small, gently sloping, light sandy beaches. Its kilometre-long beach promenade with bars and restaurants invites you to stroll around. Various water sports are offered on several beaches, including pedal boating, jet skiing and parasailing (upon availability). Distance to airport: 25 km.
Playa de las Americas is the most popular resort on the island with its long promenade lined up with bars, cafes and nightclubs. It offers great recreational possibilities as well as a great range of water sports on several beaches (no guarantee). The resort is a perfect choice if you are looking for an active and dynamic holiday. Distance to the airport: 26 km.
San Miguel de Abona stretches from the Atlantic Ocean to the Montaña Colorada Natural Park. The old town has been classified as a cultural asset and is definitely worth a visit. Golf del Sur is built around its namesake golf course and is located on the edge of the municipality. You will also find several shops, cafés and restaurants near the beautifully furnished appartments. Distance to airport: 10 km.
Located opposite Tenerife, the second smallest island in the Canary archipelago is a delightful place to visit with its magnificent, unspoilt landscapes that will thrill hikers and nature lovers alike. The island is surrounded by cliffs, dotted with picturesque fishing villages and is home to the beautiful Garajonay National Park, which is protected by UNESCO. Distance from Tenerife: approx. 50 min. transfer by boat.
Transfer procedure (in the event of a package trip):
1st day: departure from Luxembourg with Luxair flight. Arrival at Tenerife South Airport. Welcome by the LuxairTours guide who will give you your travel documents and answer all your questions.
Transfer (about 30 minutes) to the port of Los Cristianos and loading of your luggage. Depending on the time of your arrival in Tenerife, possible free time before the ferry leaves for La Gomera.
Boat trip for about 50 minutes. Disembark at the port of San Sebastián in La Gomera and transfer (35 km, about 30 minutes through an impressive landscape) to the Jardín Tecina Hotel in Playa de Santiago.
Until the last day: stay at the Jardín Tecina hotel depending on the services chosen.
Last day: transfer from Hotel Jardín Tecina to the port of San Sebastián. Boarding for Tenerife. After arrival at the port of Los Cristianos, transfer to Tenerife South Airport and departure for Luxembourg. If you wish to extend your stay on Tenerife Island, transfer directly from the port to the hotel of your choice in Tenerife.
N.B: The procedure may be modified according to the flight and ferry schedules.
In case of last-minute changes, you will be informed by your guide on-site. If necessary, an overnight stay in Tenerife will be arranged.

This boat trip will take you to the cliffs of Los Gigantes to watch whales and dolphins from the deck, through the glass bottom of the boat or on screens showing images from underwater cameras.
This boat trip will take you from Los Cristianos in the south of Tenerife to the port of San Sebastián de La Gomera by ferry. The second smallest island of the archipelago will welcome you in an extraordinary natural setting. The island boasts beautiful landscapes characterised by steep slopes, towering cliffs plunging into the ocean, kilometres of marked trails through vast, unspoilt forests and small, typical villages with a strong emphasis on history and craftsmanship.
After a bus transfer, this guided hike will allow you to appreciate the contrasting landscapes of the island while diving into the heart of the island's wilderness. Walking shoes and suitable clothing are essential. Further information from your guide on site.
Journey to Teide National Park, before continuing to the small mountain village of Masca, then on to the attractive little harbour town of Garachico. Free time for lunch (not included) and a walk. Tour continues afterwards to Icod de los Viños (dragon tree).
This excursion may only be booked for departures from Puerto de la Cruz.
After the cliffs of Los Gigantes, this tour takes you to Chio before reaching the Cañadas del Teide National Park, with several photo stops along the way. Within the national park, you will be able to admire the rocky corridors formed naturally by the wind, from an altitude of around 2200 metres. At mid-day you will reach the picturesque village of Puerto de la Cruz and enjoy a stop for a stroll along the coastal promenade or for lunch (not included). The next stop is the village of Icod de los Vinos with its famous dragon tree. In the afternoon, the last leg of the journey will take you to Santiago del Teide before reaching the southwest coast of Tenerife.
In a small group, you will head to the west coast in a van or mini-bus to reach Masca, a mountain village. You will then continue to Garachico, via Icod de los Vinos where you will visit the dragon tree and then, you will pursue to La Orotava. Here, you will discover the historical town and enjoy a good lunch (included). The return to the south of the island will be through the lunar landscape of Cañadas.
